Overview
The Lifeline Outreach Grant program is a grant program funded by the Universal Service Fund pursuant to
Wis. Admin. Code § PSC 160.063 and authorized by the Commission in its
Order.
The Commission may award up to $250,000 in grants under this program on a fiscal year basis. The Lifeline Outreach Grant Program is currently organized under two tracks: Outreach and Education, and Research and Resource.
Who is eligible to apply
- Eligible applicants under both tracks are:
- Non-profit organizations
- Community-based agencies
- Political subdivisions, including tribal governments
- Eligible applicants under the Research and Resource track only are:
- For-profit businesses
- Universities
- Other institutions of higher learning
