Wind Siting Council

​The Wind Siting Council is an advisory body with members appointed by the Commission. The Wind Siting Council was created by the legislature with passage of 2009 Wisconsin Act 40​ in order to advise the PSC during its wind siting rulemaking (docket 1-AC-231) and to survey and study on an ongoing basis the impacts of wind energy systems and regulatory developments regarding the siting of wind energy systems. The council is a public body, and their meetings are open to the public.

Docket Information

Current Notices of Wind Siting Council meetings will be filed in annual dockets with the format 5-WF-(Calendar Year).  For 2024, information is in docket 5-WF-2024​.
