The Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) is to help people with disabilities buy specialized equipment they need in order to use basic telephone services. To apply for a TEPP voucher online, use our revised online application below. If you are unable to use the online application, you can print the application form provided in pdf format and mail to the address on the form.

How to apply for a TEPP voucher:
It generally takes 3-4 weeks to receive your voucher. It will take longer to receive your voucher if you apply for TAP to cover the copay. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received and vouchers are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Use the online application instead of mailing or faxing applications for a quicker turn around time for voucher processing.
When you open the "Online TEPP Application/Application Status" (above), you can also check when you last used a TEPP voucher. Click on "Application Status" and fill in the requested information to find out when you last completed a TEPP voucher or the status of your current application. You can apply for another voucher 35 months from the voucher completed date.

Equipment not on this list may be covered, but will require preapproval and will only be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Customers are responsible for the $100 co-payment with the exception of those customers using a hard-of-hearing voucher and those customers that have received approval for TAP (Telecommunication Assistance Program). The equipment is listed by disability categories.
