PSC Internet & Phone Helpline

Wisconsin Internet Self-Report
Tell us about your broadband experience. Wisconsin Internet Self-Report (WISER) is an internet survey and speed test that will be used to advise Wisconsin's broadband planning efforts. Everyone is encouraged to take the survey and help us create a better broadband map. You may take the survey multiple times to report on additional locations, connections, or to take an updated speed test. WISER will serve as a long-standing tool to track broadband service over time. We are open to partnering with communities to make locally focused surveys using WISER as a guide.

Broadband Grant Footprint
This mapping tool provides a look at the impact of broadband grant projects statewide. Users can search for grants in their area of interest by performing an address search and navigating the map. Grant projects can be looked at individually and in groups based on the grant round and technology type. A swipe bar tool is available to view completed projects separately from all in progress projects. Move the swipe bar to the right to view all completed projects and to the left to view all awarded projects.

Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is winding down. The Federal Communications Commission benefit program that is helping qualified households to afford a broadband plan is projected to run only through April 2024, due to a lack of additional funding from Congress. This date is an estimate and may change. Households currently enrolled will continue to receive their ACP benefit through the end of the program. See the page
