Programs
The Wisconsin Office of Energy Innovation provides assistance to residents, businesses, and local governments interested in investing in clean energy and energy efficiency projects. Click on the title of a program below to see how we can help you.
Energy Independent Communities is a voluntary agreement between the State of Wisconsin and communities that have either adopted the common goal to source 25 percent of the energy used from renewables by the year 2025 or another thoughtful plan that will lead this community towards achieving energy independence.
The Energy Innovation Grant Program supports the reduction of energy consumption and its cost to businesses and taxpayers, increased use of renewable energy and transportation technologies, comprehensive energy planning, and bolstered preparedness and resiliency in energy systems.
Focus on Energy is Wisconsin utilities’ statewide energy efficiency and renewable resource program. Since 2001, the program has worked with eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
As the Wisconsin Office of Energy Innovation, our goal is to see you realize your energy efficiency goals. With the Municipal Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance Program, we will provide the owner’s representative services to: municipalities, cities, towns, counties, K-12 School districts.
The State Heating Oil and Propane Pricing Program is a weekly survey of residential heating oil and propane prices in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Energy Statistics
The OEI collects yearly data on energy
production, consumption, prices, and expenditures published in the Wisconsin Energy Statistics Book and Energy Use in State Facilities Report.
