BRAWT: Biofuels Retail Advancement in Wisconsin Transportation

In partnership with USDA, OEI is seeking increased utilization of Wisconsin-based biofuel in the state’s gasoline-ethanol blends. BRAWT, also known as the Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership (BIP), intends to drive innovative public-private partnerships to market higher levels of ethanol by providing cost-share for installation of fuel blending pumps, dispensers and other ethanol fueling equipment.

CEMRLF: Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund

The Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund (CEMRLF) was created through an American Reinvestment and Recovery Act grant through the U.S. Department of Energy.  CEMRLF provided low-interest loans to Wisconsin’s manufacturers to utilize renewable energy and energy efficiency in their facilities, enter green energy supply chains with new commercial technology, or retool existing products for the clean energy marketplace.

EIC: Energy Independent Communities

Energy Independent Communities is a voluntary agreement between the State of Wisconsin and communities that have either adopted the common goal to source 25 percent of energy used from renewables by the year 2025 or another thoughtful plan that will lead this community towards achieving energy independence.

EIGP: Energy Innovation Grant Program

The Energy Innovation Grant Program supports the reduction of energy consumption and its cost to businesses and taxpayers, increased use of renewable energy and transportation technologies, comprehensive energy planning, and bolstered preparedness and resiliency in energy systems.

Focus on Energy

Focus on Energy is Wisconsin utilities’ statewide energy efficiency and renewable resource program. Since 2001, the program has worked with eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

MEETAP: Municipal Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance Program

As the Wisconsin Office of Energy innovation, our goal is to see you realize your energy efficiency goals. With the Municipal Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance Program we will provide owner’s representative services to: municipalities, cities, towns, counties, K-12 School districts.

SHOPP: State Heating Oil and Propane Pricing Program

The State Heating Oil and Propane Pricing Program is a weekly survey of residential heating oil and propane prices in Wisconsin.

SWET: Wisconsin Statewide Wood Energy Team

The Wisconsin State Wood Energy Team was launched in the fall of 2014 via a cooperative agreement with the United States Forest Service. The job of the Team is to help homeowners, businesses, and institutions explore the use of wood for heat, power, or both.

Wisconsin Energy Statistics 

The OEI collects yearly data on energy production, consumption, prices, and expenditures published in the Wisconsin Energy Statistics Book and Energy Use in State Facilities Report.
