The Clean Energy Manufacturing Revolving Loan Fund (CEMRLF) was created through an American Reinvestment and Recovery Act grant through the U.S. Department of Energy. CEMRLF provided low-interest loans to Wisconsin’s manufacturers to utilize renewable energy and energy efficiency in their facilities, enter green energy supply chains with new commercial technology, or retool existing products for the clean energy marketplace.
The low-interest loans benefitted Wisconsin manufacturers across the state in a variety of markets, such as a goat cheese producer that added a biogas energy system to treat waste.
