Notice (February 15, 2008)

For reasons explained in the previous notice (below), we have developed a new means for filing your Annual Report with the PSC. Until we are able to put an upgrade in place for the WEGSARS, please follow the directions here.

At the end of the Export process, a popup comes up that says "Export Successful - Press to send your report to the PSC now." Please DO NOT send the email. Rather, exit the system, retrieve the Export Report from your printer, and click on this link: http://psc.wi.gov/apps/ARupload/upload.aspx and follow the directions there.

Note that the file you will be uploading is the ZIP file that is generated from the WEGSARS, located on the C: drive under C:\PSC\WEGSARS5\EXPORT, as specified on your Export Report.

Notice (February 6, 2008)

Due to the increasing prevalence of computer viruses, the email software in place at the Public Service Commission is now blocking emails that have Microsoft Access (.mdb) files attached. Although this has been in place for a few years, it is only this year that the filtering software also blocks these emails if the .mdb file is contained within a .zip file. The effect of this is that users of WEGSARS are no longer able to file their annual reports by email.

We are working on an alternative method for uploading your annual report and expect it to be available the week of February 10. Keep watching this webpage for instructions on how to upload your report.

Notice (January 11, 2008)

The WEGS 2006 Annual Report Import Files are now available for download.  Before you begin to complete the 2007 report, you must have the final version of your 2006 report present in your database.  If you are working from the same computer or database you used to file last year's report, it is likely already present and you may begin your 2007 report.  If you do not have a current version of the 2006 report in your database, or are unsure, you should download the report from the link below and import the report before beginning the 2007 report.

No changes are planned for the Water, Electric, Gas and Sewer Annual Report System (WEGSARS) for the 2007 reporting year.  The current version of the program is release 5.08.  This release is optional for those who have already installed version 5.06 or higher, but it is recommended that all users upgrade to the most current release.

Once you have begun entering data for the 2007 report, we strongly recommend backing up your files before installing a new release - see File, Backup Database dropdown.
