Ongoing Requirements for Telecommunications Resellers


1) Inform the Commission of changes in information contained on the application form
2) File annual reports for assessment purposes
3) Respond to data requests issued by the Commission staff although these are rare.
4) Abide by the rules for resellers promulgated by the PSC in Wis. Admin. Code ch. PSC 168.
5) Abide by the rules regarding notice of changes in rates and terms of subscription in Wis. Admin. Code § ATCP 123.04.

How should resellers notify the Commission of changes to information, such as name changes, etc.?
On company letterhead, signed by the CEO or President, resellers should provide notification addressed to:

or, by email from CEO or President, sent to pscrecs@psc.state.wi.

Such letters must be received by the Commission within 20 days of occurrence, although staff recommends that notification be in advance, where possible, to allow staff to respond to customer inquiries. The letters should include the four digit PSC identification number (normally 7xxx or 17xxx) for the reseller involved.

Is Commission approval required for mergers, transfers in control, or stock transactions?
No. Companies are to notify the Commission, on company letterhead, of such activities within 20 days of occurrence.
