Utility Training - Links for Reference
- Annual report data:
- Commonly requested data can be searched, viewed, and downloaded to Excel here
- Annual reports can be viewed in PDF format here
- Using the Water, Electric, Gas, and Sewer Annual Reporting System available here,
data can be requested for multiple years or multiple utilities from pscrecs@wisconsin.gov.
Small data requests will be attached to an email. Larger data requests will be
mailed on a CD.
- Statutes and Administrative Code: The PSC’s authority to regulate water utilities is found in the Statutes in §196 and in the Administrative Code in
§§ PSC 184 and 185, which are available and searchable at the Legislative Reference
Bureau’s website.
- Utility
tariffs: The PSC records the authorized rates of each utility in a document called a
tariff.
- USOA: The USOA is the PSC’s
established accounting framework for utilities to report required financial information.
- Utility reference manual: The reference manual is a supplement to the USOA meant to help utilities interpret the USOA and prepare annual reports.
