Federal Recovery Act - Renewable Energy
Funding is provided through a variety of federal programs to encourage the research, development, and installation of renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, and biomass and for alternative fuel vehicle fleets. Most of the funding for these types of projects will be made available directly from the federal government through competitive processes. Financial assistance may include bonding, tax credits, grants, loans, and loan guarantees for individuals, businesses, utilities, nonprofits, local and tribal governments, and others.
