| » The PSC recently issued a
draft of Energy 2014, Wisconsin’s
Strategic Energy Assessment report based on data and information collected in
2007 and 2008 from Wisconsin utilities and power cooperatives. The PSC is looking
for the public and energy stakeholders to comment on the draft report before
December 11, 2008. Comments will be included in the final Energy 2014 which
will be issued early 2009. |

for municipal governments and utilities, is now ready for members to
sign up. WisWARN provides a network where organizations can locate emergency
assistance in the form of personnel, equipment, supplies and materials, and

| » Global Warming Task Force Report Finalized:
Governor Jim Doyle’s Task Force on Global Warming has released its
final report. The Task Force, comprised of environmental, agricultural,
industry, citizen, tribal and utility leaders outlined recommendations on how to address
global warming in Wisconsin with targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to
2005 levels by 2014 and 1990 levels by 2022. For more information on the

| » On February 17, 2009 television stations will start broadcasting using
only “digital” technology.
To prepare for the transition to digital-only broadcasting, consumers who currently have
analog televisions (i.e. those that rely on a rooftop antenna or “rabbit
ears”) will need to obtain a separate digital-to-analog converter box
to watch over-the-air television.
