Integrated Anaerobic Digester System

Request for Proposals

The State of Wisconsin is exploring innovation in manure management that includes approaches to add efficiency to solids and liquids handling, decrease agricultural wastewater volumes, reduce hauling costs, improve the agricultural benefits of the materials that are land applied, address pathogens, and maximize the renewable energy benefits of anaerobic digesters. A successful proposal will involve the creation of a consortium of parties using contractual means to build, operate and maintain a system that includes renewable energy production, water treatment, pathogen reductions, and transport of manure to and from a centralized location, among other innovations suggested by applicants.
