Project Description:American Transmission Company LLC (ATC) proposes to construct, own, and operate a new 345 kV electric transmission line. The project, known as the Paddock-Rockdale 345 kV Access Project, is proposed to be located in Rock and Dane Counties, Wisconsin. ATC proposes to construct this new approximately 35-mile transmission line primarily along existing rights-of-way using one of two possible routes. The purpose of the project is to provide ATC’s customers access to lower cost sources of electric supply. The Commission found ATC’s application in this docket to be complete on June 21, 2007.
